Majordomo option
I may add an extra course at my Thanksgiving inspired by this menu. Although, is anyone else like me…and amused that King’s Hawaiian rolls are included in this package? I don’t dispute the honey butter (I’ve tried it…it’s delicious), but the rolls are available at Costco in the mega pack for less than $5.

Gus’s BBQ in South Pasadena is offering a take-home Thanksgiving dinner with smoked turkey, gravy, cornbread stuffing, and cranberry. Says it feeds 12-15(!) for $170. I’ve never had their smoked turkey, but all their food in the restaurant is pretty darn good.
Bludo’s smoked or fried turkey:
Whole Foods offers Nicole Ruckers Honey Chess Pie for Thanksgiving pickup even at the Brea location!
Technically off topic and x-post with Drunk, Stoned Hungry but not sure where else to put this
Oh, gawd, I’d forgotten about that
I ordered a Rucker pie from Bludso’s about 1.5 yrs ago. I know she gets a lot of love, but I was not particularly impressed w/ the pie.
I’ve never had this specific Rucker pie from it but its very reasonably priced at $12.99. The pecan pie my wife wants from The Pie Shop is $35.
Pecans cost a lot more than sugar. You mean the Pie Hole?

Yes I meant the Pie Hole.
Excellent pie and fair observation on ingredient cost. I think my wife is actually buying 2 of these pies now.
The Whole Food’s pecan pie is $15. I think WF serves 6 while Pie Hole serves 8.
Well, at $13, it might be worth a try.
For me, I plan to try the Milk Street Maple Browned-Butter pie, although you gotta make it yourself.
I literally laughed out loud when I saw this! Thanks for the fun.
Maybe Sam Woo bbq in Van Nuys could do one for you.
