I imagine other buffet-based chains are going to be making similar decisions - HomeTown Buffet, Golden Corral, etc. (Is Sizzler still around?)
Now I’m genuinely sad to have not tried Souplantation.

Sad all around. Many people I know love (loved - sigh) going there.

Bummer. Not gourmet by any stretch, but crave a good salad bar once in a while.

Yes. But years ago they started offering cooked ‘to order’ entrees so they could be in a much better position. I just drove by one yesterday that had a coned off area in front of it for curbside pickup. I haven’t been to one in maybe 20+ years but I’ve gotten Facebook ads from them about meals to order within the past couple of weeks.
