I’m thinking
Grand Marnier
Corralejo Reposado Tequila
Frozen strawberries
Lime juice
Fragoli Wild Strawberry Liqueur - instead of simple syrup…
salt
Ice
What would you change?

I like the Pierre Ferrand dry orange liqueur. You could infuse your own strawberry liquor but we are out of season (David Lebovitz has a good recipe)
It’s been ages, but we used to really enjoy the Cook’s Country or America’s Test Kitchen recipe.
It involves cooking down frozen strawberries with some sugar because they’re more consistent than relying on off-season fresh strawberries. There’s fresh lime, tequila and maybe a splash of Gran Marinier. I can’t remember much else, and I can’t seem to google it without a paywall.
If I knew your budget I could suggest much better tequila
I ended up using patron which everyone said don’t use but it was fantastic. They said it was too high end for a margarita. But it was amazing
What are your recs?
Tequila is so so subjective as there are hundreds of quality, additive free options today, but as a generic list you can’t go wrong with the following:
Arette
Atanasio
Tapatio
G4
Ocho
Cazcanes
Cascahuin
Cazcabel
Don Abraham
Siete Leguas
Wild Common
Fortaleza
