Kennedy praises fast food chain’s efforts to ‘Make America Healthy Again’ after it ‘RFK’d’ its fries

“Congratulations @SteaknShake for being the first national fast-food chain to begin the transition away from seed oils,” Kennedy — who was recently sworn in to lead the Department of Health and Human Services — wrote in a Thursday post to X. “Thanks for leadership in the crusade to Make America Healthy Again.”

Steak ‘n Shake announced Monday in an X post that the chain’s Ohio, Colorado, Florida, Texas and Oklahoma locations started making fries with 100 percent beef tallow …

As always he has no idea about the current research on any issue - there is a current trend to avoid seed oils but it isn’t based on any solid science as advantages and disadvantages of seed oils and the overall balance aren’t that simple as he makes it. (And it is also good to see that the FDA canceled yesterday their meeting to determine next year’s flu vaccine (and let’s not even start on the layoffs, cut offs of in-directs etc etc which will make the US in a third world country from a science perspective)

You don’t have to be an anti-vaxxer to believe that frying potatoes in beef tallow is healthy, though a worm eating a hole in your brain might help with both.
