Lotus of Siam

Yes I don’t mind the service charge as long as it’s being properly disclosed.

Level 5 tonight was delicious, but also spicier than I remembered.
Walked in with no reservation tonight (Friday) at 6:30PM. The staff is saying that it’s starting to hurt.

Was that the shrimp and the shrimp shells? Those were so good.

We generally stick to 3 so our kids can eat some of the dishes. Whoever first recommended the shrimp dish with added spice is a real mensch.

The spiciest item was the nam kao rod at level 2. The Tom yum was 3 and papaya salad was 5. Still great but the papaya salad disappointed. Did not have same the same funk sand spice we are used to.

No mango sticky rice?

My family sucks and nobody wants this dessert except for me. I almost ordered it for myself but ended up with gelato from Eataly.

@moonboy403 thought of you while reading this article and bummed that I didn’t order the mango sticky rice last week. Passed by a table sharing it and they seemed so content.

LOS only gives you super ripe mango so I’m not surprised that everyone loves it. Now I want some mango sticky rice too.

Garlic shrimp?

Sadly no. Only our small family of 4. We missed having some more adults to order the shrimp, duck curry and a few other dishes. My wife and I love the shrimp especially when you get it a little spicy. Kids not so much.

Screw M Life. My best friend lives in Summerlin about 5 mins away from Red Rocks. He has status and I usually drive out there once or twice a year.

Although I did really appreciate the smoke free environment at Park MGM.

Awesome rumor of the day: Told Red Rock casino’s buffet space is getting a (wait for it) Lotus of Siam! Easily one of the best Thai restaurants in town. If the buffet had to go, Lotus rocks as a replacement. https://t.co/oG2hAEdO61

A third location within Vegas would be a bit odd though.

Yes but that’s a good 30 mins away from the other 2 locations.

Get the dessert sampler, so worth it. The fried bananas with coconut ice cream is awesome to go along with the mango sticky rice!

Flamingo or Sahara location?

It was the Flamingo location.

The Sahara location is still closed.

LoS is the best and the last few times we had some great sake and white wines to pair with the meal.

Pro tip Resy takes reservations 3 months in advance for LoS.
