Looks like Ozzy’s You’re Welcome pie (the checkered paper helps clinch the ID LOL). Was just there last week. I really enjoyed the clam pie. Almost as good as Sally’s!

ozzy’s you’re welcome is correct.

@Clayfu power rankings forthcoming?

Extra credit: The pie below the clam pie is a Liotta ah-beetz.

Is that the place that opened on the patio of one of my old hangouts, the Glen Arden?

I really want to try but it’s so far away

You gotta remember. it looks delish! Except the burnt part, but i don’t eat the crust anyway.

Bang bang w/ Mini Kabob?

Was meaning to get to Ozzys but they just got reviewed by Barstool so I guess I’ll wait a few weeks

It was okay. Pizzas all felt a bit too one note in flavor.

The red pie - sauce was too chunky and savory. New Haven tomato sauce should be tarter

Clam pie - leaned too briny, needed more acid

The spinach and mushroom pie was decent as the veggies and cheese helped balance the tomato sauce. Also less sauce which was helpful.

Biggest issue is it wasn’t crispy enough other than the crust. Which should be a staple of New Haven style.

Edit - just watched the Portnoy review. He also states there’s nothing New Haven about the za

Looking at my photo archive it was a now-defunct pop-up called Double Dragons.

Hmm, my Ozzy pies were plenty crispy; perhaps the pizza gods were smiling upon me during my visit…
