Really? I thought it was still going strong when I went last month. I actually much prefer LOS’ khao soi and thum ka noon (?) even though I liked Northern Thai Food’s.
i was referring to northern thai food club and it was a hilarious joke…

Just had my leftover larb and it was still amazing
Ok so that was definitely amazing. I loved everything but especially the larb. We tried a bunch of things and of course they shared 3 more things to taste. Really love it there, the people are super sweet. Kid loved his grilled pork and sticky rice as well. Sad to report that something isn’t agreeing with me and the lady though, maybe it’s the spice level, maybe it’s all the new bits in the larb(I had a lot), but next time I’ll go I shall have to be sure the following 2 days are clear. Was not fun having gut rot on the way to Catalina yesterday. Both still feeling it today. I dont bitch about stomach aches since i’m so used to it but this one tore us up.

Was planning on going for lunch on Friday . . . but now I’m not so sure I’ll be able to recover in time to avoid turning a red eye flight on Saturday/Sunday into an anal ring of fire flight.
This place sounds . . . very serious.

We, too got hit with the aftershocks the next day (after both our visits). 
I loved the food, but I normally don’t eat that intensely spicy.

The first time I went to pailin and had the nam prik noom, I basically had a complete stomach meltdown. Was not a great thing to happen during a first date.
We did not go out again.
The Khao Soi is very mild
