13 is the best and 7 is the least? What is this, American Bandstand?
So funny. It looks like FTC auto numbered for me. I actually went through and numbered from #7 to #1, lol! Didn’t notice that it reordered when i posted!
I was at dinner with Jeremy at Sei - Williams brought that pizza out and started listing the ingredients, there was so much on there we had to have him list it 3-4 times lol
That’s one delicious pizza
What do you all think about a Pizzeria Sei FTC buyout one night? Maybe a Monday or Tuesday when they’re normally closed, assuming they’re receptive to that. It would be great to be able to try a bunch of different pizzas. I’ve only been solo which is always a bummer, as I can only really order one pizza per visit. I don’t have the stomach capacity of some of you world class eaters!
From everything i’ve heard, Sergio seems like the kind of guy who might even whip up some off-menu specials for a private event (i’m being presumptuous, but couldn’t hurt to ask).
Any interest? Assuming there is sufficient interest, anyone here know Sergio well enough to see if he’s open to it?
100% down for that and I’m certain one of the heavy hitters around here knows Sergio well enough to ask. I’ll gladly chip in for some Astrea on any of the pies @Clayfu.
you’re gonna ask him to work on his day off?
I would be inclined to do whatever he would prefer. My thought was maybe he wouldn’t want to disrupt a normal business day - it’s always a bummer when you have to turn away walk ins because they didn’t know you were closed on a day you’re normally open. I’m definitely not suggesting he has an obligation to open up for us on his day off, let’s not turn this into something it’s not
he usually does the buy out meals during non hours of operations. This past Friday he did a Friday lunch buyout. He’s done a few Monday buy outs as well.
And yes @rohto there’s always astrea pies at these buy outs ha.
It’s on their special menu now!
I have some information on a potential FTC buyout. 7-10PM on a Monday night. 18 people at $150/person excluding tax and gratuity, so figure it’s $200/person all-in after accounting for tax and gratuity (~10% tax, ~20% tip). No corkage fee . I don’t know exactly how many pizzas/apps/desserts would be included in aforementioned pricing; I would hash out the specifics if there’s enough interest.
I thought about using a Google Form to gauge interest, but in the interest of transparency - and because we’re all already on here, let’s just use this thread. If you are interested, please comment below (do not just like this message) and include how many total people would likely be in your party. This is NOT a commitment, just a declaration of interest. If we don’t get enough people, then I won’t move things forward. If it seems like enough people are interested, I’ll reach out to Sergio to discuss details. If more than 18 people are interested, then I will allocate spots based on response time.

Me (by myself).
I don’t think my original post was totally clear, so to clarify, we essentially need exactly 18 people. The aforementioned pricing is for 18 people. If there are less than 18 people, we would have to pay more so that they end up at the same total (18*150 = 2,700 pre tax/tip), and with any less people, the pricing per person becomes silly, and it doesn’t make much sense. So, 18 is the magic number!

Interested+1 but can they really handle 18 people?
