Is there a person minimum, and is this happening all at one seating? Gee, 8 slices is kind of a lot…

I believe that’s how much we each got at the first FTC buyout there. (And now that I recall, there were a lot of to-go boxes being requested lol…)

All the other courses didn’t help :smiley: 8 slices is more doable if you can restrain yourself from finishing the crust as well. I definitely found myself trying to prioritize greatest enjoyment/bite as we got farther into dinner.

guest chef from savoy in tokyo is here slinging pizzas. in la.

highlight was the new hailey 1.0. I liked the hailey 0.5(?) we had at the buyout but this one was on a whole nother level. porky points 9.1/10.

incredible, favorite one yet. Sometimes I feel it’s a bit overloaded with ingredients (while still tasty) but this one had just the right amount and the kewpie base was CHEFS KISS

he spelled it wrong it’s Sativa Oregano. It’s an oregano native to lebanon used in za’atar seasoning

Asked for the Hailey 1.0 as it wasn’t on the menu and it was delightful. Well-balanced and I loved the anchovies. Marg Special is still my favorite. It was the bf’s first time and he thought the pies were too salty. I didn’t think so until after the meal and I was needing to down a lot of water. In hindsight, I think it was saltier than prior visits. Took dessert home and the tiramisu didn’t last long as I mindlessly devoured it in front of the TV. Hoping to try the Mala lamb pie next time, if available.

We had stopped by on Sunday, 4pm for an early dinner. Had reservations and were the only ones in the restaurant for a while. A couple of folks popped in to order takeout. The nice thing about going on Sunday is that parking is super easy.
